What does it take to be an Entrepreneur?
In February 2023, Fishbowl Youth was founded by Inbal Bitan Danon as a passion project inspired by her children. Frustrated by the pressure kids face in traditional learning environments—where success is often measured by rigid standards rather than individual potential—Inbal created a hands-on, tangible curriculum that equips kids with real-world life skills.
Students quickly realized that skills like budgeting, public speaking, collaboration, and creativity weren’t just lessons—they were tools they could use to build their own businesses and see tangible results. Suddenly, math made sensebecause it was tied to their business success. Public speaking felt natural because they were pitching their own ideas. Collaboration, art, and creativity flourished because they had ownership and passion driving them.
But as Fishbowl Youth grew, Inbal recognized a critical gap: not every child had the financial means to access these opportunities. In 2024, Fishbowl Fund was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to bridge this gap. Its mission is clear: raise funds to ensure every child, regardless of financial background, has access to these empowering tools and opportunities.
Today, with over 400 students empowered and a growing network of passionate young entrepreneurs, Fishbowl Fund is committed to breaking barriers, inspiring creativity, and helping every child reach their full potential—because nothing empowers a child more than achieving success they’ve created for themselves.
